2000 VW Jetta GLS TDI diesel with a 5 speed manual transmission in excellent condition mechanically and good condition cosmetically. This is a one TX owner vehicle. Interior is clean, with normal signs of wear, but much better than the mileage. Leather on the seats is soft and clean, heated front seats work as they should. We did quite a bit of restoring work on this car, including: replaced the timing belt kit with water pump in this car, drive belt, front and rear brakes, sway bar bushings, front lower control arm bushings, tie rod ends, cleaned the intake manifold, replaced the drive belt, thermostat and water flange on the head. I am a member of the TDI community and I am very familiar with these cars.
The car runs and drives excellent, suspension is very tight, engine sounds good, transmission shifts excellent. Ready to go for another 100k mls. This car will probably get around 50 mpg on the highway. One hinge on the glove box is broken, but the door stays closed fine. Center armrest has the lid hinge broken, the VW sign on the trunk lid has a missing portion, the cup holder is broken. Paint looks pretty good, with a few spots on the front bumper where the clear coat is peeling (I will post close up pics). Few dents/dings/rock chips, but much better than the average. All electrical equipment works good, AC is cold, heater is hot. Tires are in very good shape. This car needs nothing more, except a new owner.
